Thanksgiving

It is good to give thanks into the Lord! The fam headed down south to
Las Cruces for Thanksgiving. I was blessed to have my bro in town to
join us. We left Wednesday evening after service arriving in LC
slightly before 1 am. Had a beautiful Thanksgiving day of food and fam
followed by an evening at the cinemas (Quantum of Solace was sick!).
Shaena and her family spent black Friday shopping. I chilled back at
the house with my bro getting an intensive workout with Wii. The Lord
has SO blessed us and we are thankful for so much!

New words

Took Nicky to Starbucks tonight to grab some coffee and get him a
Vanilla milk drink. We then went to Bravo to have dinner with some
friends. Right before we dove in Nicky said the greatest word to
date...Starbucks! I'm a proud papa.

Fall Fest

Spent put Halloween at church eating candy and enjoying the wide array
of costumes. Nicky and Em has to get their pic together .... they
insisted.

That's a wrap!

We've arrived home after such an amazing vacation. Monday we spent the
day as a family at the Magic Kingdom. Nicky had so much fun. We ended
Monday at the Crab house for some all you can eat crab buffet. When we
arrived to the airport in Orlando we were informed that our plane had
been cancelled. Of worked out and we got a better/shorter flight.

It's good to be home! Plans have already begun for our next vacation.

Vacation Continued

My Mom and sister have arrived. We spent Friday doing what we do
best .... eating and shopping. Saturday was day 2 of Sea World. We ate
breakfast with Elmo and his buddies. Then Nicky met Elmo and gave him
a big squeez and kiss. We then spent the day seeing more shows and
trick-or-treating all over the park. We finished the day with more
Shamu. This time we got soaked! Today we drove down to The Villages
were my grandparents live. It the world's largest retirement CITY! My
Dad is arriving soon and tomorrow we'll spend the day with Mickey
Mouse. This has been the greatest vacation ever. God has blessed us
with such a beautiful family.

Vacation Collage 2

Yesterday we spent the day at Sea World. It was a day filled with
excitement, rides, animals, and Shamu. We got the best seats in the
house for the mamoth sized mammal. The show was spectacular. Nicky got
to ride his first rollercoaster. What a hoot to see his face when the
rides dipped and turned. Later we met Shamu and got our pic taken with
him. We also got to hangout poolside and run through the kiddie
fountains. Tonight (Thurs.) my mom and sister are arriving to visit
us. Vacations are so important! We are loving it!

Vacation Day 1

We've been in Orlando for 24 hours now. It's been perfect weather and
the resort we are staying at is unbelievable! It is Orlando's newest
resort (about 1 yr old) and it is world class. We woke up late
(greatest thing about vaca) and headed out for breakfast by the pool.
Then we were off for most of the afternoon doing errands and shopping
to stack our fridge. We are in a 1 bedroom that has a full kitchen,
jaccuzzi, bathroom, living room, dining room, and a large enclosed
patio. We finished day 1 picking out a park for tomorrow and me
grillin chicken on the grill.

Father - son time

So it's ladies night out and get spend the evening with my amazing
boy. Start the night chilling at the park with Kev and Em. Headed off
to grub as these boys is hungry.

Urban excursion

After a long weekend of ministry we spent the day as a family eating
and shopping. Shaena had yet to check out urban outfitters and we
bought her some new gear. Nicky auditioned for a kiddy urban outfitter
add. I think he'll get the job.

Dinner

My favorite moments in the day are spent with my beautiful family. We
went out on a family date last night to Trombino's. It's amazing how
fast our family has grown. Thanks Skip for dinner.

I was walking out of the apple store and saw this intersting
advertisement. I think it was some sort of sign I need to do more work
around the house.

Keep it in the fam

Spent some Father/Son time at the Apple store today. Only a matter of
time before he'll want his own.

Fit for life

The ABQ just became a whole lot cooler with Urban Outfitters. Just
took my first tour and picked up a sweet jacket. Officially my new fav
clothing store.

We've been blessed with some great friends....the Wylies. We are here
at their cabin at Bluewater lake relaxing and doing all types of fun
stuff.

Great friends and a John McCain/ Sarah Palin  rally. What more could a gal ask for! We had such a blast! It is really exciting to watch this race for the soul of a country that has long since turned away from God. Btw, Jenn and my shirts read, Saracuda!!

Little Drummer Boy

Nicky got a new set of drums, "Sticks" as he calls them. He starts the jam session as soon as he wakes up in the morning and only takes breaks to eat briefly. It is as cute as it is loud... and believe me it is loud.  

Mommies little helper

I taught Nicky how to dust. I figured it would ease the cleaning burden a bit, lol. Since we have been done nursing for some time now, maybe it would be safe to put the boppy away too.

Unexpected Blessing

Albuquerque NM is not exactly the vacation capital of the world. That being said, we rarely can convince out of town friends to come for a visit (especially those that live in exotic locations). Once in awhile, however, we get the pleasure of meeting up with friends that are, "just passing through". Such was the case with our friends pictured here. Shorty and Margoray Armstrong from Texas. We met them in PR and were so blessed by there visit. This visit may not have been planned but in "the Land of Entrapment" we are confident one day they'll be back... even if they are only passing through.

Nicky and the Pirate Daddy

If you go to Fudruckers you'll see this pirate there. Nicky saw it and started to cry. When I picked him up to comfort him he recognized the pirate right away... he laughed, pointed at the pirate, and yelled Daddy!!! We were all cracking up. I am sure you all see the resemblance.

   Nicky is getting so big! He likes cheerios in the morning and wakes up looking just like mommy.

Joining the blog circuit

Well Nick decided it would be good for me to update the blog so we could keep friends and family current on Crespo happenings. The previous blog was posted on "demonstration day" where he attempted to show me just how fun and easy blogging could be. As you can see I've yet to post... until now that is. I hear-by announce this blog up and running. I'll do my best to update if you'll do your best to comment. Here is the first update:

Nicky has strep!  Could he have got it from the many toilets he is so found of splashing in... certainly not from his new potty (he definitely does not pee in that).
